PHR Toolkits was developed as an online home for Physicians for Human Rights’ resources, collected into “toolkits”. These toolkits include vital advocacy information available for online viewing, printing, and downloading. I modeled much of the visual and functional design after Wikipedia and similar sites.
The online home of Physicians for Human Rights’ National Student Program was built on a WordPress platform, but is much more than a blog. The site features a robust social network, built using BuddyPress, and an event calendar. I also developed five regional “hubs”—sister sites geared toward more localized blogging and networking.
I acted as a consultant for this “fun” look at global health funding, conceived of and shot by PHR interns. I chose the music and edited this piece for them.
