Projects That I've Worked On

Physicians for Human Rights

I was an integral part of the Physicians for Human Rights’ team that managed the redesign and redevelopment process for PHR’s website in partnership with the team at Convio. I was involved in the brainstorming and decision-making of the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design as well as the information architecture (IA). I was also the principal troubleshooter and “fixer” of technical issues after the handoff of the site from Convio to PHR.

Old Site Design

This was PHR's previous site, hosted on Get Active.

PHR's new site was rebuilt from the ground up, with a more logical structure and effective design.

One of our goals with the new site was to make things work better on the back-end, and on the front-end have content dynamically appear in logical places throughout the site.

The new site was restructured by more logically presented issues (topics) and sub-issues.

Another example of content dynamically being included, in this case in tabbed lists below the Issues page content.

Bio Page

After the handoff from Convio, I re-coded the Bio pages' display template to include customized lists of an author's blog posts, reports, articles, and media appearances.
