This Physicians for Human Rights video provides a brief introduction to the principle of Medical Neutrality, its foundation in medical ethics and international law, violations of Medical Neutrality, and steps that can be taken to protect and promote the principle. I produced, directed, edited, and narrated this video, which I also co-wrote with Andrea Gittleman.

It's been a busy few months! I recently wrapped up production of a book trailer for Management Sciences for Health, Go to the People, and before that I produced Tao of Leadership, an MSH 40th anniversary video. Currently in the works is a video on the principle of medical neutrality for Physicians for Human Rights, as well as the redesign and redevelopment of several websites. Looking forward to what 2012 will bring!

Physicians for Human Rights

I was an integral part of the Physicians for Human Rights' team that managed the redesign and redevelopment process for PHR's website in partnership with the team at Convio. I was involved in the brainstorming and decision-making of the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design as well as the information architecture (IA). I was also the principal troubleshooter and "fixer" of technical issues after the handoff of the site from Convio to PHR.

In 2010, Physicians for Human Rights investigated alleged human rights violations in Burma's Chin State. PHR's report, "Life Under the Junta: Evidence of Crimes Against Humanity in Burma's Chin State", reveals extraordinary levels of state and military violence against civilian populations. I produced this video to accompany PHR's advocacy campaign and website, which I also built.
